The Shotgun/Throwdown: Thursday (12/2/10) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Hope Lager, because WVU needs to T.C.B. Saturday and hope for help from USF.

In front of a sparse crowd last night (to say the least), Casey Mitchell led the Mountaineers over American with some wonderful offense and some somewhat surprising defense. Elsewhere, Rutgers is the full focus of the Football team and the Women's Basketball team is back in action tonight against Elon.

If any of you didn't realize, clicking on "Like" on the individual articles just likes that particular article, but not our main page. Many thanks to those who "Like" us already. We made a nice jump to 365 (still a far cry from the 19000+ for our old page, but baby steps people...baby steps). Our next goal to get to 400. C'mon people, spread the word!! Everything is after the jump...
