The Shotgun/Throwdown: Friday (12/10/10) Edition

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Gritty McDuff's Christmas Ale.

The big news is still Brunetti, but also maybe some coaching changes, due to job offers. I'm kinda pressed for time, but there's a full slate of ranked Big East basketball teams in action over the weekend, as well as both of our Mountaineer teams. You've also got the Army/Navy game tomorrow too.

If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter and don't forget to "LIKE" the Smoking Musket MAIN PAGE on Facebook (follow this link, then hit "LIKE"). If any of you didn't realize, clicking on "Like" on the individual articles just likes that particular article, but not our main page. Many thanks to those who "Like" us already. We are up to 396 now (still a far cry from the 19000+ for our old page, but baby steps people...baby steps). We're almost to our next goal of 400. Let's see if we can top it by the end of the weekend. C'mon people, spread the word!! Enjoy your weekend and take your morning dose after the jump...
