The Shotgun/Throwdown: Tuesday (10/5/10) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Titanic Brewing Company, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown. It is in no way a subtle commentary on WVU or the Big East...well, maybe Big East football.

Questions abound as to the availability of Noel this weekend. Reports are that he's practicing, but coaches want to only use him as much as needed which says right away that he's not 100%. The flow of basketball news is picking up and the Athletic Dept. has filled the position left vacant by Russ Sharp's passing. If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter. See you after the jump...
