Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Stella Lager, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.
Vegas Baby!!! Vegas. Only we aren't going to Vegas. Vegas is coming to us, which is backwards and defeats the point. Oh well, I digress. It's back to the grind for the Mountaineers as UNLV is set to come to town this weekend. Around the league this past weekend, there was more embarrassment and a handful of teams that beat patsies and their fans/blogs acting like it was a good showing (which, granted, compared to September, it was). We also welcome a couple of new BE sites to SBNation. I'm not sure how long they've actually been around...but I just found them. If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter. See you after the jump...

Miss Throwdown:
Today's Miss Throwdown is a gorgeous Canadian with Egyptian heritage. She's in COED Magazine's 2010 Calendar and held the prestigious title of Miss Canada Toronto Bathroom Model of the Year in 2007 (I couldn't make that up if I tried for years). Here's Laura Michelle Prestin.
