The Shotgun/Throwdown: Tuesday (10/26/10) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Avery Brewing Company's The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest Lager, because it still is and I have this one in the bag (Ed. note: also, it's Derek Dooley's favorite beer).

The love fest continues via other news outlets today. And, believe it or not, there is another football game this week against another team in disarray, the UConn Huskies. Yes, Mountaineer fans, it could be worse (though that doesn't make me feel any better at this point). Full media coverage is inside. If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter and don't forget to "LIKE" the Smoking Musket MAIN PAGE on Facebook (follow this link, then hit "LIKE"). See you after the jump...
