Welcome By-Godders to the Shotgun/Throwdown, Auburn game prep edition, brought to you today by Miller Lite.

Tomorrow is gameday and most of the guys are on the road, so we'll just have to hold down the fort for them. Another positive from winning Saturday night would be we won't have the Barner trolls polluting our comments with things like "Yew guys are SLOWWWW!!" and "Da Big Least sucks." Tailgate recipe of the week:

Cajun Chicken Burgers

  • 1 pound freshly ground chicken or turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
  • 3 green onions, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Ground black pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Form into four 4-inch patties. Broil or grill 4 to 6 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.

Makes 4 servings.
