HCBS's Moutaineer Rules for Living

New, 4 comments

Recently HCBS has started posting his "Mountaineers Rules for Living" in the lockers of the Puskar Center. Lucky for us all we can also keep up with these rules to live by because he posts them on his Twitter page.

So post these in your office, cubicle, dorm room or prison cell and make sure to live by each and every one.

Enjoy...

Mountaineer Rules for Living No. 1 - Life is not fair-get used to it.

Mountaineers Rules For Living No. 2 - If you think your teacher is tough, wait until you get a boss. He doesn't have tenure.

Mountaineers Rules For Living No. 3 - Flipping burgers isn't beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a word for it called opportunity.

Mountaineers Rules for Living No. 4 - If you mess up, it's not your parent's fault, so don't whine about your mistakes. Learn from them.

Mountaineers Rules for Living No. 5 - Your school may have done away with winners and losers but life has not.

Mountaineers Rules for Living No. 6 - Life isn't divided into semesters. Don't get summers off, few employers want to help you find yourself.

Mountaineers Rules for Living No. 7 - Television isn't real life. In real life, people actually leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Mountaineers Rules for Living No. 8 - Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Mountaineers Rules for Living No. 9 - Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now.

Mountaineers Rules for Living No. 10 - World doesn't care about self-esteem. They expect you to accomplish something then you can feel good
