Welcome, By-Godders, to the Monday edition of the Shotgun/Throwdown, brought to you today by Goldstar beer, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

It's Syracuse week. I know they ain't the Syracuse of old...yet, but they are showing vast improvement under first year coach Marrone. All I ever have to do to get fired up for Syracuse is remember the "Marvin Graves Game." More on that later this week. I'm starting to get steamed now just thinking about it.
