Welcome, By-Godders, to the Thursday edition of the Morning Shotgun/Throdown, presented by Garden Beer. If Doug Gottlieb still doesn't think we are in the Tournament I will steal his credit card and buy him some talent.
After sucking for most the first half, most of the team showed the heart that I didn't think they had for the remainder of the game. But if Providence doesn't get stuffed by the rim on a couple dunks the result could have been different.

WVU wins: If we don't cut out the lazy passes and do better switching screens we could be in trouble for the remainder of the postseason.

Is John Daly a Mountaineer?: Daly knows how to drink like a Mountaineer but we have at least some work ethic. Well, we have work ethic when WVU doesn't have a game in the middle of the day. Hell, who am I kidding we drink at work too.

The other "big" conference tournament games start today: The BET is the best top to bottom tournament in all of college basketball. Have you ever heard anyone say, "I can't wait to watch the Big 10 tournament to see if Northwestern wins." No, and the ACC tournament is irrelevant until Duke and Carolina meet in the finals. BET = AWESOME
