WVU and Panasonic have entered into an exclusive deal that makes Mountaineer facilities the proving ground for all of Panasonic's newest audio/video equipment. Before the cutting-edge technology is available to rest of the nation's programs (and professional teams), it will be installed at WVU's Mountaineer Field and Coliseum.

Considering WVU's somewhat sketchy past when it comes to technology in our facilities, this is welcome news. Fans and recruits alike love the video boards, or should I say board since we're still waiting on the Coliseum edition. Hopefully this partnership will speed that process along.

And I think I speak for all of us when I say that this agreement better improve the out-of-town score updates at Mountaineer Field. As far as I know, they're still showing scores from the 3:30 games on October 12, 2002.

And, just for good measure, here's the cast of Coyote Ugly on a Panasonic flat-screen. Why? No idea.
