Well, I didn't see that one coming. I would like to commend Virginia Tech on assuming the fetal position towards the end of the game. They really did that better than I think any other team could.
Couple things from the broadcast:
- Stop calling a 25/52 performance with 2 INTs "Heisman worthy." Bullshit. BC couldn't do a thing on offense for 55 minutes. Then, Tech goes into the prevent and Matt Ryan wins the Heisman. Tech gave that away, BC didn't win it. If anyone tries to tell me otherwise, I'll punch them right in the throat.
- I'm paraphrasing here, but Todd Blackledge couldn't tell us enough that VT's program was built on a team atmosphere, devoid of any superstars. Oh really? What was Tech before Michael Vick? Oh, you hadn't heard of them before that? Me neither.
- After tonight's putrid performance, I am convinced that BC will lose again this season. #2 team in the country? Yeah, right. Maybe top 15, but nothing better than that.
