Garrison to Miss Orange Bowl

West Virginia University freshman running back Dustin Garrison was injured at today’s practice and will miss the Discover Orange Bowl on Jan.4, 2012, against Clemson.

Garrison sprained the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee; he also has a slight medial collateral ligament sprain in the same knee. He will undergo surgery, and his recovery will require six months of rehabilitation."

In addition, 2,500 tickets are being made available for free to military personnel. The nonprofit Veteran Tickets Foundation has contacted bases in the Miami area, and WVU also has been in touch with the West Virginia National Guard."
