Macon Will Not Join WVU in 2012

According to a report from WVi, the highly touted power forward will have to spend a year in prep school to become academically eligible to join Coach Huggins' team. The report also states that he remains committed to joining WVU for the 2013 season.

According to Eer Insider, Ron Everhart is expected to be announced as an assistant on the men's basketball team today. Also, a heads up poster on BGN suggested a search on WVU.edu will show he's already in the system.

The 6'8" junior forward (JUCO transfer) was announced to have been suspended by Coach Huggins just about an hour before the team was to take the floor for introductions at Mountaineer Madness this evening.

Morgantown Forward Nathan Adrian Commits to WVU

The 6'8" junior forward from Morgantown High School committed to play basketball for Bob Huggins and the Mountaineers yesterday.

Huggins falls, breaks 4 ribs

West Virginia athletics director Oliver Luck confirmed in a statement that Huggins would be fine after being held overnight for observation. Luck said Huggins was with associate head coach Larry Harrison. "He is expected to be released later today, and we expect him to make a complete recovery," Luck said Saturday.
