Mike Smith to WVU staff?
The wheels in the sky keep on turning...I don't know where I'll be tomorrow...The wheels in the sky keep me yearning...I don't know, I don't know, I don't---Thanks Journey for this update to the WVU Defensive Coaching search
[NEW] Interview with J.T. Thomas
Hey Mountaineers fans,
I was here a while ago to talk about what it was like meeting former Mountaineer QB, Jarrett Brown (who's now on the Colts practice squad). If you don't remember me, my name is Max Strauss. I'm a high school senior, and I work really hard interviewing NFL players, so I thought I'd come here to share the link to my most recent. I had a chance to interview J.T. Thomas about his time at WVU. After leaving WVU, J.T. Thomas was selected in the 6th round, 195th overall by the Chicago Bears. I'm here to share the interview and check out your thoughts.
Here is the link to the interview, http://prointerviews.org/JTThomas
Thank you for letting me share! Please share your thoughts!

A present to all WVU fans, from Spencer Hall
He put this up yesterday on EDSBS in a story where he talked about Clemson letting Kevin Steele go.
It's beautiful, man!
Dana Holgorsen on 1560 The Game in Houston
Great interview with Dana. Talks about the Orange Bowl Victory, Ford Childress, the Defensive staff, him wanting to settle down in WV. Gives insight on pro combat uniforms and how next year could be our last with Nike and could make the switch to Under Armor. Even Clemson Tom calls in for a question.
Let's all just point and laugh at the pathetic Panthers.
Ha! Found this on the ESPN Big East Blog...
Twas the night of the Orange Bowl and throughout the nation We were the underdogs on every TV and Radio Station ESPN said we couldn't win, Clemson would destroy us in the end Said our guys weren't so great, but one didn't know West Virginia was a state ... ... ... The fans were nestled all snug in the stands Clapping along with the Mountaineer band And ma in her jammies and I in my WVU cap Settled in for the game, a bowl of chips in my lap When out on the field there arose such a clatter I turned up the sound to see what was the matter Touchdown after Touchdown after Touchdown they scored 10 in all for a 70 score The QB in charge was so lively and quick I knew in a moment it was Geno Smith More rapid than eagles his passes they came, Then he pointed and scrambled and call them by name Now Austin! Now Bailey! Now Buie and Alston! On Cook! On Brown! On Milhouse and Irvin! Tightrope the side lines and reach for that score, We make history tonight, no ones done it before! The coach praised his players, the fans stayed for hours, Dana still wet from his Gatorade shower. He turned with a jerk, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, as he strode out of sight, "The couches are burning in Mo-town tonight!"

Thoughts about Casteel?
is anyone else as concerned as I am about losing Jeff Casteel to Arizona? He won't answer one way or another. He's from here and tied here, has kids here, so I'm really hoping he stays. He's a fantastic coach and the state as a whole really loves him. But no one really knows how he and Holgorsen get on, and the uncertainty with the amount of time that Holgorsen might actually be here probably doesn't help things. I would think that an offer from Arizona has to be tempting, at the very least... If he does decide to leave, anyone have any thoughts about how hard of a time WVU would have finding someone new? Moving to the Big XII, the defense conference, couldn't hurt, right?
