Game Preview
The Texas Tech Red Raiders are nothing if not inconsistent. You don't have to look much further than their last two results to find that out: massive win at home over (at the time) #9 Iowa State 78-73 and a historically awful 81-36 loss in Norman four days later. The fact that the Red Raiders had their best and worst games thus far this year sequential to each other is a very telling example of where this program is. They can be competitive, give you a run for your money, and even knock off a few big guys, but it is not going to happen week in and week out. The depth isn't quite there yet. Now, two days removed from that beatdown in Norman, I wouldn't be surprised if Devaugntah Williams and Toddrick Gotcher have big games, but this Tubby Smith team isn't ready to beat a high-functioning #PressVirginia in Morgantown.
Prediction: WVU 78, Texas Tech 63
