The State House of Delegates gets it right
According to David Gutman, the West Virginia House of Delegates today voted in favor of House Concurrent Resolution 84 crowning the pepperoni roll as the state food.
The pepperoni roll is the official state food of West Virginia, per a resolution in the @wvhouse today.
Even Jay Rockefeller has commented on this momentous occasion.
Just saw the @wvhouse introduced a resolution to make the pepperoni roll the official state food. (1/2)
Over 2 decades ago, I was proud to work through issues w/ USDA & help save the pepperoni roll & several family-owned businesses in WV. (2/2)
While Fairmont natives everywhere rejoice, King Tudor's is not happy.

While we are not completely sure what this means, our little knowledge of Tudorese and Spanish spells out that Tudor's will probably invade Colasessano's, Country Club Bakery, and any gas station within the state border that sells pepperoni rolls. Better stock up, people, the siege could go on for a while.
