The JUCO wideout picks WVU.

Ronald Carswell, a 6', 185 lbs wide receiver from Macon, Georgia, originally signed with Alabama out of high school, but ended up leaving and enrolling at Itawamba Community College in Mississippi for a year before signing with the Mountaineers today. Don't let Carswell's stats at Itawamba fool you - he's a playmaker playing in an offense that didn't throw the ball often. In fact, he is lightning with the ball in his hands with a knack for making defenders miss. He should thrive in Dana Holgorsen's offense by getting the ball quickly then working his magic in the open field. Originally scheduled to enroll in January, Carswell had an issue with an online class that has since been resolved and is on track to be in Morgantown this summer. Like the rest of this class's wide receivers, he is poised to compete for immediate playing time. He just has a year of collegiate experience to help him along the way.

Welcome home, Ronald Carswell!
