Game Preview
The Baylor Bears are in a serious rough patch right now. After losing six out of their last eight, the Bears are close to playing their way out of March and, according to Lunardi in his Feb. 26th bracket, effectively have demoted themselves into the First Four Out. During this slide, Baylor was still able to show WVU how it was done via a 20 point route two weeks ago. While beating our boys by a sizable margin isn't exactly a resume builder, losing tonight to tie in conference records with the Mountaineers certainly wouldn't help their cause. These last few weeks are a race for 6th to clinch the Big XII conference tournament first round bye. While this would be a major help to WVU to try to make a run for some type of postseason, HC Scott Drew and his squad want to get into the big dance and absolutely need to win tonight and seal (at least) 6th place for the remainder of the regular season.
Prediction:
Baylor 75 - WVU 60
