WVU is 51st in this week's Sagarin ratings, but interestingly enough although West Virginia is at No. 51 in Sagarin's primary ratings, it is at No. 39 in the numbers he provides to the BCS. That's a fairly large gap.
Baylor is No. 3 in his regular ratings and No. 2 in his BCS numbers. So a win over Baylor would be big, at least in terms of computer rankings.
As for human polls, Top 25 teams don't lose to Maryland by 37. And let's hope that Florida State does not expose Maryland this week, or the perceptions of West Virginia's weakness will harden.
