This is simply an opine piece from Happy Valley, but it's interesting that the Lions (from this particular observer) are interested in playing WVU. However, I totally understand them wanting to play us as opposed to the irrelevant team in Oakland who just joined a non "Big 4" conference. I don't think I'd have much interest in playing them at this time. They are very much damaged goods and will likely suffer athletically for 10-15 years. Couple the worst scandal in collegiate sports history w/ population shifts southward/westward and you have a much lesser Penn State in the coming years.

1. Ohio State

2. Michigan

3. Alabama (will play in 2014 Kickoff Classic)

4. USC

5. Virginia Tech

(Pitt would be 6th as I'm a fan of the Backyard Brawl)
