It's difficult to put into words just how fortunate we are as fans to see so many wonderful people come through our program. No matter what team you cheer for, you're witness to the change that takes place in an athletes life. The progression from childhood to adult. They come to us bright eyed and full of potential, and they leave us while we wish they could stick around just one more year.

It's the beauty and inevitability of a program. As fans, we only hope we gave them half as much as we expect from them. I know that sounds wrong, but we do put them through a lot. For the most part, they always seem to rise above it and give us lasting memories for the program we call our own. We don't give them all the standing ovation we save for the Jerry West's and Pat White's of the world. But they are part of this family and we hope they always know they are welcome.
