National Signing Day: WR Devonte Robinson Officially A West Virginia Mountaineer
Devonte Robinson, a 6'2, 175 lbs wide receiver from Village Academy in Delray Beach, Florida, has committed to the West Virginia University Mountaineers, announcing the news and faxing in his National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day 2012. Robinson, the No. 246 rated wide receiver recruit according to Scout.com, chose WVU over more than a dozen offers, from schools such as UConn, Illinois, and Wake Forest.
Robinson is more of a prototypical outside receiver. At a lanky 6'2 and 175 lbs, Robinson also runs a 4.45 forty yard dash. While WVU does have a huge need at wide receiver after the departure of Devon Brown and Tyler Urban, Robinson isn't just a space-filler. He can play, and could end up being the best receiver in this class.
Welcome home, Devonte!
