National Signing Day: OL Tyler Orlosky Officially A West Virginia Mountaineer
Tyler Orlosky, a 6'4 290 lbs guard from St. Edward's High School in Lakewood, Ohio, has committed to the West Virginia University Mountaineers, announcing the news and faxing in his National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day 2012. Orlosky, a 4-star prospect and the No. 13 ranked offensive guard by Scout.com, chose the Mountaineers over offers from Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, and Northwestern.
Orlosky is just what the doctor ordered for WVU's offensive line. A large, skilled body and tireless work ethic, Orlosky should be among the first of the newcomers to compete for playing time under OL Coach Bill Bedenbaugh. The more guys we can get like this, the better the Mountaineers' line will be both in pass protection and run blocking. A huge pickup---literally.
Welcome home, Tyler!
