National Signing Day: DB Jarrod Harper Officially A West Virginia Mountaineer

Jarrod Harper, a 6' 200 lbs safety from Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg, Maryland, has committed to the West Virginia University Mountaineers, announcing the news and faxing in his National Letter of Intent on National Signing Day 2012. Harper, the No. 34 rated safety recruit according to Scout.com, was WVU's first verbal of the 2012 class.

Harper is one of four safeties in this year's class. If you take a look at the first video, he calls WVU his "dream school." We like him already. A tough, heady defender, Harper should fit nicely into either the free or strong safety position in whatever new scheme we adopt.
