WVU tips off a brutal stretch of the non-conference schedule this afternoon with old familiar nemesis, the Virginia Tech Hokies. I can hear you saying, "But IE, this is a basketball game, not a football game." Well, I got some news for you: these Hokie cagers are actually pretty good. They sport a perfect 7-0 record, including an impressive win over a ranked Oklahoma St. team in their last outing.

After Wednesday's kerfuffle in the Capital Classic, there was some concern that the four ejected Mountaineers would be automatically suspended for today's contest. Good news: they're all available to play today. Also, Ukrainian big man, Vlad Gerun, is finally available to play for the first time this season after serving an NCAA mandated suspension.
