With the current losing streak dropping WVU to a paltry 5-4 in league play, tonight's hoops edition of the Backyard Brawl against Pitt has essentially become a must win game for the Mountaineers. First of all, it would get them off the schneid and hopefully gain some positive momentum heading into the second half of the Big East slate. Pitt enters the game on a roll, now that they have Woodall back to full speed. Do KJ and the boys have enough to counter? We shall see.
Televised coverage of the game begins at 7 pm EST on ESPN as part of the Big Monday lineup. So, sit back, relax, prop up the feet and grab a beverage or 11 and join us in running commentary, random observations, snark, wit, hopes, fears, cheers and jeers in the comments as we root on the Mountaineers in the latest edition of the Backyard Brawl.

We played pretty well.
Some tough calls against us, and Woodall scored twice his season average. Would have liked fewer easy baskets, but Pitt was picked to finish near the top of the Big East. We lost to a good team no matter what their record says.
