Casteel, Kirelawich and Lockwood Leave WVU for Arizona
Well, it's finally official. Arizona finally issued the press release confirming what everyone else basically had resolved to be true. Presser out West will be 1 pm Friday. Next up for the Mountaineers is to make the hires to complete Coach Holgorsen's staff.

Sounds more and more like Brian Stewart is the new Co-DC
And DeForest will be the other Co-DC.
Figure Stewart will be calling plays and DeForest will be signing recruits. I like that, as long as they stay off each other’s toes.

I still think we see Brian Stewart come as well.
Since DeForest’s title has yet to be determined I think we will end up with Stewart as DC and Defirest as the Co-DC and special teams coach.
I’m excited about what these two bring to the WVU program.
Between Dana, DeForest, and Stewart, we will have some serious recruiting muscle.

I wish Casteel nothing but the best.
He’s a classy guy and has done a ton for our program, so I hope he knows that by leaving, our state still loves him, and he’ll always be a Mountaineer.
That being said, I LOVE that Deforest is coming in. This is a great hire for us. I hope Stewart comes, too. WVU will be a-okay without Casteel. He’s helped put us in this position to become powerful.

One worry I have
I’m all for bringing in the guys that recruit Texas, but do we still have the guys that can recruit PA/DC/OH or even FL?
I like having some regional guys, because we are still in fact in Appalachia.
