I try to read just about everything that is written about WVU football, and lately about conference realignment. I've read blog posts here and there about the value of WVU as a team for another AQ conference, but I've not had any real sense that the premier football conference in America (the SEC) would seriously consider us.  

However, this recent ESPN story (see link below) about why the Big East wants to go to a 20 team conference implies that the SEC is considering raiding the Big East for none other than THE West Virginia Mountaineers!

I'm trained to think that if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.  But I will lobby with all my might to rename Mountaineer Field "Oliver Luck Stadium" if WVU's A.D. can pull this off.  Here's hoping it could happen.
