Pat White Signs With Destroyers
Last Friday, I reported to you that former Mountaineer quarterback, Pat White, was close to signing with the Virginia Destroyers of the UFL. FoxSports reported last night that White has indeed signed with the Destroyers, and will resume his professional playing career.
"It's a chance to show I can do it," White said.
White should have a great opportunity to start for the 1st year team, coached by long-time NFL coach, Marty Schottenheimer. He will compete with Chris Greisen, Dennis Brown, and former Marshall QB, Derek Devine for the starting QB position.

All the best, Pat.
He may never be a starting QB in the NFL, but there’s good money to made as a backup, and I hope he plays well enough to continue to earn money “the easy way.”
