The Shotgun/Throwdown: WVU Football Spring Drills Kickoff (3/30/11) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions.  We're being brought to you today by Foster's, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown, because there's no other reason to drink that stuff.

After the long winter workouts, the WVU football team finally gets to take the field once again for the spring session of drills.  Fifteen practices and an intra-squad game/scrimmage (which, I believe, counts as one of the practice sessions) is all we get this spring.  New Offensive Coordinator Dana Holgorsen vows the entire offense will be installed in only 3 days.  Sounds like a tall order, but his track record backs him up.  Based on the released injury updates, it does seem that Geno will be a full go for the drills.  The sounds of pads and helmets cracking is back!!
