Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Narragansett Beer.
As the weather is trying to change over to spring (operative word is trying), we begin the annual transition from the round orange ball to the oblong brown one. Spring football drills are less than a week away and they will be the most important spring drills that WVU has had in quite some time. I have a few articles previewing the upcoming sessions and a couple on the Mountaineer NFL draft prospects, along with the usual fun.
If you have any tips, suggestions or requests for content that you think is worth sharing, you can send them to me by email or Twitter and don't forget to "LIKE" the Smoking Musket MAIN PAGE on Facebook (follow this link, then hit "LIKE" at the top of the page). Many thanks to those who already "LIKE" us. We now stand at 693, we're this close to 700. Just seven more. Let's get there by the weekend. Please, spread the word!! It's all inside. See ya after the jump.
