The Shotgun/Throwdown: Wednesday (3/23/10) Edition

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions.  We're being brought to you today by Sweet Water Motor Boat, in honor of every Miss Throwdown...ever.

With the women bowing out of their NCAA Tournament to Baylor last night, WVU basketball season is now officially over.  Attention now turns to spring football, which will begin on Monday for the Mountaineers.  The servers for the Daily Mail and Gazette seem to have crashed.  If they are back up this morning, I will do an update around lunchtime.  Plenty of other coverage to peruse is after the jump, though.
