Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Sweet Water 420.
OK, whoever had both, and only, UConn and Marquette from the Big East advancing out of the first weekend...raise your hand. A few were knocked out by these same UConn and Marquette teams, but still. Yes, WVU was unfortunately part of the group of Big East teams whose seasons are now over, but at least it was against a team that the seedings held true on (and Vegas for that matter). The Big East women fared much better over their first weekend so far (they still play tonight and tomorrow) going 9-0. That, of course, means WVU's women have advanced. Tournament coverage is after the jump. The big question on most people's minds is if Kevin Jones is staying for his 4th season. And....spring football starts in a week. I've got a small look ahead to that, too.
