The Shotgun/Throwdown: Marquette Hangover (3/10/11) Edition
Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Goddard's Fuggle Dee Dum, because that's as closely a named beer to what I was saying (use your imagination) at the end of that game last night.
Dammit. Just dammit. On one hand I'm glad Marquette solidified their NCAA chances to give the Big East 11 teams (et tu Villanova?) in the dance. But why, why, WHY did it have to come at our expense? Maybe this will knock the guys back to reality and motivate them. We can only hope. Of course, what EVERYONE else is talking about is the Rutgers/St. John's game. It's all covered inside.

PWNED!
B! TCHES.
Howw you like that one?
KAREN SYPHER!
CLAP-CPA, CLAP-CLAP
LOL!!!!
I don’t get the Karen Sypher chant. Are you degrading your own coach or are you typing it in a mocking tone? Chanting Karen Sypher at WVU fans doesn’t really hurt our feelings because our coach never slept with her. Now if you chanted DUI, or Albequerque or Edgar Sosa or Peyton Silva, then I would get that you were intending to strike a chord. But when you type Karen Sypher, I’m left confused as to your intentions.
I agree with the 25314
If you had even a modicum of intelligence, you would have come up with an ant-WVU cheer rather than making fun of your own coach.

Don't Have Much In Your Life, Huh?
…and I believe it is clap-cap, clap-clap-clap. Total of five….
Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.
When you say “now,” what are you comparing it against? It’s hard for me to answer your question because I have never considered how I felt about you previously so as to compare it to my current feelings about you. When WVU plays Louisville, I cheer for WVU, but when Louisville plays another team, I don’t really have an opinion one way or the other. Although, I like the style of basketball Rick Pitino plays, so I enjoy watching Louisville games. So, I can’t really say how I like you now. Probably about the same as ever, as long as you’re pressing and shooting threes. But it’s hard for me to answer, because I don’t really feel like I know you well enough to give a good answer.
WVU fans were chanting
KAREN SYPHER. That is the reason I threw it back at ya. I just thought it was disrespectful to our coach, fans, and players. Not too mention it shows how unclassy your student section is. There have been many occasions when WVU fans have done something that made them look like aholes to the rest of the world. I was just having some payback fun by way of karma.
JP Fanshawe, I have spent about 10 minutes in total the last 3 days at work and at home messing with you guys. However you have been posting all day from what I have saw in my time on here. Who is the one who has no life? c’mon man, we both have lives. Posting on message boards is just something we do. You WVU fans are so quick to drag someone down. That is why I came over here to razz you guys in the first place.
MAYBE WVU FANS AND STUDENTS SHOULD CLEAN UP THE WAY THEY REPRESENT THEMSELVES AND THE MOUNTAINEER NATION.
Serious, I have seen and listened to some national sports shows and have heard numerous stories of how you your fans have done something that was rude or inappropriate. You were chanting about Kyle Kuric’s “zits” in a game. That kid was 18-19 years old and has 15,000 people chanting about his acne, wtf? Real classy!
BTW……..25 POINT VICTORY OVER MARQUETTE!
THAT'S
ALL!
Good luck in the tournament. I will cheer on any Big Beast team in March.
BTW I DON'T WANT TO DEGRADE HUGGY BEAR
He did bang a big time booster’s wife in Cincy. Jeff Wyler is the guys name. He is a big time car dealer and gives big money to cincy bball. Huggy banged his wife after the DUI in Cincy.
fun fact for you guys and all is true.
