There's been a lot to hate this week. Sadly, there's been very little about the game against Rutgers. We're all aware of the distractions West Virginia
is was suffering right now through. But this crap has been going on long enough that it's almost impossible to focus on anything but rumors and the screaming roller coaster that has been Mountaineer football this year.
The good news is that there is a distraction from all the chaos. A story worth telling. Eric LeGrand will lead Rutgers out of the tunnel against West Virginia this Saturday in Piscataway. I imagine this will only help Rutgers. But at this point, I really don't care. It's nice to just pause and be human for a second and wish him continued success in his recovery. For more info, you can visit the Eric LeGrand Believe Fund site. You can also follow him on Twitter @BigE52_RU.
As for what's below the jump? Well, you know...everything else. Obviously, I'm editing this in light of the news today. When I wrote it last night, I was thinking Oliver Luck and us fans could use a stress reliever from all the chaos. Now that everything is settled, you can get it all out and pat yourself on the back for a job well done, Mr. Luck. You've earned it. If you want to get all kicky and punchy on John Marinatto for blowing up the Big East and destroying the last of our traditional rivalry games, follow me after the jump.
Yeah, that's Rick Pitino back there. Why not?
