Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Magic Hat Hex Ourtoberfest, because it's close enough.
The 2011-2012 season kicks off unofficially tonight with Mountaineer Madness at the Coliseum (gear sale at the Shell Building before) where both Coach Huggins and Coach Carey will be introducing a plethora of newcomers on their squads. But, the big news of the day is the impending Big East vote on a possible raising of the exit fee from the league. We've also got a few more mid-season reports on Coach Holgorsen and the football team. Try to enjoy your weekend without Mountaineer Football.
