"Never Again in the Old Gold & Blue"
I was just thinking yesterday that maybe Sands is going to come back next year. According to his facebook, he will not be. I've also heard that 5 star Michigan transfer Justin Turner is evidently not coming? even though he is on the roster on msnsportsnet. That leaves us with Terence Garvin keeping his spot and Eain Smith taking over for Sands, and I'm guessing after all the praise he got from the coaches in camp the other safety will be Darwin Cook? Also Mike Dorsey could be the one who steps up since he did get a good bit of playing time when we were up big in games, which wasn't very often. I really think that Keith Tandy's success this year was due to the fact that opposing teams didn't want to throw it Sands and Hogans way which in turn gave Tandy more opportunities, another reason why Sands may have left. I kinda figured Sands thought he had nothing left to prove, I mean he didn't have many balls thrown his was this year, next year would probably be worse, so I can't blame him for leaving to take a shot at the NFL. I loved Sands while he was in Morgantown and will hopefully get to continue watching him at the next level. So what are everyone else's thoughts on next years secondary without Sands? And what your thoughts of what our Defense might look like as a whole?
