Bob Huggins' West Virginia Mountaineers team had their backs against the wall after a poor start in conference play and barely held on to beat Big East cellar-dwellar DePaul by 2 on Tuesday night in Chicago. Can this team start winning or are they N.I.T. bound... or worse. At this rate it's not hard to imagine WVU going well under .500 in conference and even flirting with a .500 overall record. Tough times in Morgantown on the hardwood and gridiron to say the least.
