The first 22 seconds of the video is Noel standing around before the game and the last 23 seconds are Noel standing around after the game. That leaves 51 seconds of actual highlights, of which there are 3. Maybe hold off on the pseudo Devine Heisman hype until he is deserving?
but the first
the first 22 seconds has the commentating crew praising him….you forgot about that part….this is a baseline level of production from the campaign…if he becomes deserving you will see things kick up to another level
haha, my bad. i’m at work, so i didn’t have the volume turned on. you do a good job, and i appreciate your videos. i wasn’t trying to knock the video, just saying that, as of the first 3 games, geno and tavon have been the bigger stars.
i agree
and I didnt take it as a knock nor would I care, but the video and the campaign are something me and others do for seniors who have done a lot all 4 years and have some national reputation…I might make a video for the game if he had 2 carries for 10 yards
Im glad to see at least some highlights
ESPN3 didn’t carry the game, and doesn’t have it on replay.
There is a video recap on their site, but it is mostly footage of the band while the guys in the booth talk.
WV Illustrated only has sideline footage.
Weird.
That was one of the quieter 130 yard performances I've seen.
Other than the one huge play, most of Noel’s other carries were pretty pedesterian.
Also, you have to keep in mind how hard it is to make a highlight film of one player from one game. Out of 25-ish touches, maybe 5 are going to be highlight worthy?
Finally, while I agree that Noel hasn’t done anything to win the Heisman (yet), he also hasn’t done anything to lose it. Yes, these opponents are not very good. But he is still churning out 100 yard games and you get the feeling that he hasn’t even done anything yet. To me, that’s pretty good. If he’s going to stand any chance of winning the thing, he’s going to need big games against teams like LSU, Pitt, and Rutgers (last game of the year) and WVU is going to need to win the Big East.
Until then, we’re just biding our time.
