2010 Pick 'Em Gauntlet: Now With Audience Participation

PrintOn the opening of the college football season, we bring back our vaunted pick'em gauntlet, albeit with a few changes. In years past, our writers were able to pick any game or teams they wanted. This year, we will be providing a list of six games each week -- five interesting games plus WVU's matchup -- and everyone will pick against the spread on those games. By doing this, it will make it much easier to tally up the wins and losses and keep this orderly from week to week.
It will also allow, for the first time, participation by you, the loyal reader. When you see the games listed, simply post your personal picks in the comments section. We'll keep track of the competition throughout the season. A winner will be crowned at the end and a prize awarded to the top scorer -- likely a WVU hat or t-shirt. It should be a fun way to 1) compete against each other throughout the long season, and 2) make fun of WVUIE97's game-picking failures.

The game is close for a quarter, then OSU turns on the heat and Marshall falls apart.
Utah at home, should be a no brainer.
Kentucky squeaks by with a 4 point win.
Michigan starts calling for the coaches head at halftime. UConn rolls.
Hokies get too confident early with a lead. Boise just keeps to it’s game plan and pulls out the win in the end.
I love WVU, but I had a bad dream last night about the game. WVU wins, but doesn’t cover this spread.
