I will share more pics from the presentation later tonight
The stories behind the uni’s inspiration was the best part of the show, especially for our’s and Ohio State’s. I got a bit starstruck more than once, and once very unexpectedly.
and btw
the actual helmet used in the game will be a less glossy version, almost matte, but not as matte as Missouri’s last year
Great job WVUIE!
The under shirt looks more like a cloudy sky than a dirty coal shirt.
I like the uniforms but think there should be more gold accents.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.
I think our's are the best
I know it’s biased, but I think NIKE actually did a good job on our uni’s. I wish we could wear them against LSU too, I know why they are only wearing them for the BYB but it seems like they are so bad ass it would be great to wear them in another big time game this season!
Also, on a side note, I thought the introduction and uniform description was great. And I think using Huggs was a nice touch, but I would’ve liked it if he wasn’t reading of a teleprompter the entire time… Although he gets a billion cool points for saying “Beat the hell out of Pitt” at the end… Just my two…
Looks good,
I didn’t like ours all that much last year—they were trying real hard to make us look like Washington (gold helmets). Hope to see the new uni’s when y’all come down.
Think they look cool
even the PITT helmet looks sweet….My question is about the dryfit under shirt. I’ve seen that color used before for WVU football, but it’s nowhere (and never has been to my knowledge) in our color scheme
The blue color....
inside of the flyin’ WV is what I’m referring to
the blue color inside the WV
is actually darker than the pics make it appear….it’s the standard dark Navy
ok, here's the deal:
The pics I posted are probably the best ones from the WVU pics I took. Is there any interest in pics of the other schools? If so, I’ll post them.
I would be interested in those extra pictures.
I only got to see the last few teams but if you don’t have time we will all understand.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

Not Clownish, Which Means, Not Terrible....
….but I really don’t like how all these “special” designs de-emphasize school colors. I will say this…they can couch the design in mining background all they want, but we play Pitt during the heart of hunting season, right? I don’t think that was lost on Nike.
Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.
Hmmm...
Am I the only person that wanted to see the uniforms inspired by 1970’s rec room upholstery and the bright yellow glow of a fabric/wood frame fire???
Where does one buy these
I need one

I want the undershirt and a pair of the gloves
My new Gamewatch uni.

Several notes:
Jerard Rabb couldn’t have been any nicer…I had breakfast with him, talked to him a while and never knew who he was until the presentation (I apologized afterwards once we went upstairs)
Errict Rhett is another super nice guy. I mentioned to him that he broke my heart 17 years ago in the Sugar Bowl and then he talked to me about being recruited by Doc and then recruiting in Florida for 5 min+.
Irvin was busy soaking up the attention. Didn’t really talk to him, but got to meet him. I met Fowler too, but he acted like his mind was already elsewhere.
AD Luck saw me in my WVU shirt and made a point to say hi and shake my hand. That kind of caught me off guard, pleasantly though.
Huggs was Huggs. Awesome guy. He’s still in pain, but managing. He did mention new uni’s for the BB team, I think this year, but I could be mistaken on that…if not this year, next
Great info.
I met Fowler a couple years back and he was pretty aloof.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.
