The Shotgun/Throwdown: Wednesday (8/11/10) Edition

Dsc01553_medium

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions.  We're being brought to you today by Smuttynose IPA, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.

OK, so we self reported another infraction yesterday.  It's minor in nature, but because of the timing and ongoing investigation/response to the previous violations...it looks completely BAD.  Is it?  Time will tell.  I do think this:  Win this year and this one is likely mostly forgotten (at least by the fans).  FACT:  WVU is under a microscope right now and has no room for the slightest slip.  I'm reserving my judgment until all the facts are out (if they are ever) and penalties are handed down.  My head is spinning and just wish the games would start.  All the news on the new infraction and Camp Day 4 awaits inside.  If you have any tips, suggestions or requests, you can send them to me by email or Tweet me.  See you after the jump...

To Be A Riduculously Hot Redhead....

…I think you should actually have to be a redhead. Not that they weren’t hot, but a lot of those girls were cheating like Rod on a grad-assistant’s job description.

Now is the time boys to make a big noise.

I meant “riduculously…”
