The Shotgun/Throwdown: Tuesday (6/29/10) Edition
Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions. We're being brought to you today by Saris, in honor of today's Miss Throwdown.
OK, big news that's just breaking is that Huggs just signed a 6'10" power forward that was previously committed to BC. Otherwise, there's plenty of other news (and the usual fun) inside to keep you occupied as well. If you have any tips, suggestions or requests, you can send them to me by email or Tweet me. UPDATED with new links 2:25pm. See you after the jump...

The videos of Miss Throwdown aren't that great today, so here's something to make up for it. Plus, I've never found a gallery of this lady on a SFW site that I could use for Miss Throwdown and I needed an excuse to post this video.

Y'all do the football off-season right--I'm sure it works during the season fine also
Shotgun/throw down format is great: a brief intro and then some sports related categories with links, some football or other sporting video, some entertainment video, and some hump day related photos and video. Not a lot of soccer stuff; 1 day to Hump Day! Kudos
thanks
the S/T is a daily feature (with all the basic sections you see today and sometimes a few more) basically from beginning of August (football camp opening) through the end of BB season and a bit beyond….summer news is sometimes hard to come by
oh, during the school year, usually weekends off, with a few special editions thrown in here and there
WVUIE97 is the freakin man.
Keeps the site rolling on a consistent basis when things are slow or not so slow. And to think, I’ve still only met the guy once for five minutes.

he is not just a good writer, but WVUIE97 is one of the best people i know. so he IS the freakin man, from someone who knows. i’ve literally known him all of my life and if ever i needed anything, he would not hesitate to lend a hand.
PS – i need a couple hundred bucks…i sure wish i knew someone willing to help out
thanks, but...
I’m not a writer….I just find stuff and share it and…my brother works for a bank if you need $
yeah...
i actually struggled with the word “writer”. i was going to put “journalist”, then i thought of “reporter”, but i went with writer. just take the darn compliment!!!
and you know as well as i do that your bro wouldn’t give me jack squat
