The Shotgun/Throwdown: New A.D. (6/10/10) Edition

Badbeer3_medium

Welcome, By-Godders, to the Shotgun/Throwdown, WVU's nationally recognized best place for sports links, information, sophomoric humor and daily distractions.  We're being brought to you today by Lucky Lager, in honor of WVU's new Athletic Director.

Talk about a home run!!!  Just last week, Mickey was reporting that there was no interest from Mr. Luck.  Now...welcome home Ollie!!!  Also, Jedd Gyorko was drafted in the second round of the amateur draft by the San Diego Padres on Monday.  And...the conference re-alignment has OFFICIALLY begun with Colorado announcing a move to the Pac-10.  Sorry for the delay today, it's been a crazy morning.  If you have any tips, suggestions or requests, you can send them to me by email or Tweet meUPDATED at 4:20 with a few more links.  See you after the jump...

USC ..gets it's ass kicked

BY the NCAA…

I think this is poetic justice for The University of Tennesee, think about it.
