Latwan Anderson or [sic] a media whore, and want all of the attention you can get. To be truthful I don't want your thug ass at WVU. Travis Bell is better than you and Q Forte, I DON'T WANT YOU AT WVU. Fucking Drama Queen, Media Whore.....good luck on a average Miami team, you should fit nicely on the bench there!I guess this is Wat they see

Latwan Anderson's latest Facebook post.

To those that think your idiotic rants on message boards and this blog do not have an impact on recruits and players, think again. He would've been a difference maker in our already great secondary.

Too many people have internet balls these days.

They type things that they would not in a million years say to anyone’s face.

I am guilty of it too but I try, sometimes in vain, to keep my negativity and criticism of coaches and players to an on the field and non-personal level.

Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

If you are still considering WVU Latwan...

let the country roads lead you home.

Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

if he wants to come, he’ll come. if he doesn’t come becaue of what someone wrote on an internet message board, he is looking for a reason not to come.

I agree but

there’s no reason to give him a reason, from our own fanbase

Why negatively impact your team.

Again, if HCBS had said something to stop him from coming HCBS would be killed but it is alright for fans to negatively impact our team. That is a double standard to me.

Straw man

Of course the communication of a person running an organization is held to a different standard than that of a person with lesser—in the case of a fan, tangential—involvement.

That is true...

But it is still a double standard when you negatively impact your team and it is ok (booing) but you hold your coach to a 100% perfection standard.

New Weapon

If you wanted to be somewhat unethical, this could be used as a new weapon.
If recruits are now taking the comments of message boards seriously than we could launch a negative recruiting troll network against recruits to other schools. Establish a booster identity for awhile and lay low and then just before signing time unload the venom. For all we or Latwan knows that could be what happened here. I’m not saying to do it, but if recruits are paying attention, then watch out, because there is no way to stop the potential abuse by posters (posers) from outside fan bases.

Open Message to Latwan Anderson

I want to thank you for considering my alma mater as one of your options for college. WVU is a great place to be. If you decide that another school fits your needs better, may you find success there.

I hope you know that the vast majority of Mountaineers are generally friendly, cheerful, and pleasant. I am sorry if some complete bozo has given you a bad impression of my school and home state.

LOOKS LIKE HE TOOK THE BAIT

I no longer see his name on the recruitment page under COMMITED, NOT YET SIGNED.

It IS on Miami’s

Bummer...

I hope he remembers what made him first commit to us, but if he lands in Miami, I think it will have something more to do with the proximity of South Beach than with some idiotic post made by an anonymous fan.

Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
