It's the last game of the regular season. Does it mean much? It depends on your point of view. The double-bye is already secured, and with that, will the guys take this game for granted? Huggs won't, that's for sure. As of now, we have the 4th seed, based on current tiebreakers (the guys over at Card Chronicle have it broken down quite nicely) and we can move up as high as the #2 depending on how the games play out today. Are we playing for seeding? Revenge for the earlier loss? Pride? Momentum? Or all of the above? Of course, we're all hoping for the "all of the above" answer. The latest line has 'Nova giving 3. Leave your thoughts below (before, during and after today's game):

Sure it could have.
WVU actually played OK defense, when the 2008-Cincy-game-level offense wasn’t starting Villanova’s break.

We should
Recruit nothing but point guards. This team plays so hard and with so much heart, but has absolutely no one who can create shots.
I think thats what
Noah Cottrill will do. The boy can pass. My only question is will he be big enough and fast enough to guard other elite guards.

I can't find the tie breakers rule officially anywhere
but from what I understand…Pitt has to lose to Rutgers for us to get the #2, despite what the game announcer said

since villanova was #9 in the country and k-state lost you should move up to # 7 in the country. if you can win the big east conference touney you will get a number 1 seed in ncaa tournament. i pull for your team b/c i like your coach alot. never got over the hump at cincy. good luck in the toughest conference tournament in the nation.

How was Reynolds left alone like that?
Still, for ONCE a player has a cold game against us.
I thought the guys played with real poise, especially when coughing the wrong way was drawing a foul call. A little less drama from De’Sean on fouls would be nice, but I have no room to talk there. I just don’t want him to get T-d up during the Tournament.
Great momentum
going into the BEAST tourney. Let’s not play for Final 4’s, let’s play for National Championships! I didn’t think we could beat ’Nova and we did. That is very encouraging. I would love to play Syracuse next week.
