There were rumors a couple weeks ago about this being a possibility but I did not think it could be true. I hope he works through his personal issues and rejoins the team before spring practice.

It kinda scares me...

when they say part of his “personal problems” is deciding whether he wants to keep playing football.

I don't understand?

Who is Logan Heastie? I am admittedly not up to date on most freshmen football players. I’m guessing he was part of the heralded recruiting class of Bill Stewart? Was he that good in practice that 5YS wouldn’t believe he may not be listed on the depth chart?

After this coming season let’s hope that President Clements doesn’t stall the gradual degradation of the WVU football program by maintaining Bill Stewart as the head coach. I firmly believe, and always will, that Pat White should never have been given a platform to offer a suggestion to the next head coach. Moreover, we should have removed Stewart after the inexcusable 4 loss season in his first year. He doesn’t have a resume worthy of WVU status. Letting him go after year 1 would set our program back 3-4 years due to recruiting, etc. If we drop him after this season, I truly believe that the program could still only be setback about 5 years due to TV exposure still granted, facility upgrades at WVU, etc.

I am looking forward to the announcement of the new AD so we can get this circus act out of Mo-Town.

SC...You Shouldn't Have Used Singular Tense There...

Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.

Logan Heastie

was a 5-star high school wide receiver out of Virginia, whom Stewart recruited in 2008. He was red-shirted in 2009, but was being counted on to help fill the gap left by the graduation of Alric Arnett and Wes Lyons this year.

Typical Columbus

Takes any subject and finds a way to spin it so he can go on his soap box about getting rid of Bill Stewart.

Enough already. We get it. You don’t like the man. You want him gone. Maybe until that happens, you can lay low in the weeds and wait. We’ll all expect you to come out and have a field day when he leaves the program. But until, just keep your comments to yourself. It’s getting ridiculous.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
