"If I can make it there, I'll make it...anywhere."  Well, this team made it there.  I guess we can make it anywhere.  We won this one, but we ain't done yet.  "I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps and find I'm a number one, top of the list, king of the hill, A Number One."  OK, so we got "A Number 2" for the Big Dance.  Lot's of BET Championship coverage to clean out and a look ahead to the big one.  No time to rest on our laurels of this championship.  There are bigger fish to fry.  Beware the Ides of March, people.  Keep the tips, suggestions and requests coming.  See you inside...

You can balance the beef of putting us a #2

with at least keeping the team somewhat close to home for the first 2 weekends.

Let me start this by saying that I love March Madness, but I am so tired of favoritism toward certain power schools. Can Kansas have a bigger cake walk to the title game? I understand they are an awesome team and the number #1 overall seed, but my god that bracket is goddam ridiculous.

I can deal with the fact that we are a #2 seed, I think that was the correct seeding. But if you are telling me that Duke is the #3 best team in the country and deserving of that seeding, I will have to strongly disagree. I am so tired of everyone blowing Coach K, fuck him, I wish he went to the Lakers years ago, so that both of those teams would have crumbled.

I want a shot at Wall and Cousins, I really do, that would be the game of the tourney imo. I’m getting giddy, heheheheh.

I didn't think Kansas' bracket was that easy

Duke’s on the other hand…and Digger called this one on the nose Saturday night, I think at halftime of our game(you have no idea how it pains me to give that man props). He just had the wrong region.

Maybe it’s me, but I don’t think Maryland is a match for Kansas, and Georgetown and Ohio St have no shot imo. They have a cake walk to the final four.

G-Town will give them a ton of trouble.

Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

Kansas region

with Georgetown, OSU, Michigan State, and a strong 4 team (forget who it is) isn’t the easiest of the regions. That is EASILY Duke’s region. In fact, I’d think that may be the worst bracket in the last 5-10 years (without looking back).

Duke (solid but least best of 1 seeds), ‘Nova (reeling), Baylor (solid but not nearly as good as Hoyas or Pitt), Purdue (will play like a 9-11 seed w/o star player)………I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 5-7 seed emerge.

by WVUColumbus on Mar 15, 2010 11:05 AM EDT up reply actions

I think Baylor can play with Pitt, Columbus. And I also think that Pitt is going to have a tough time with Oakland in the opening round, Oakland will not win the game probably, but I think they will cover the spread. Not a bad team.

Kansas

Has a much harder road than a cake walk. A cake walk is Duke’s path to the Final Four.

As much as WVU got snubbed for a 1 seed, Kansas and Kentucky got reemed, and they are the top 2 #1 seeds. Part of UK’s reeming is of course our very own Mountaineers.

All it comes down to is that the little rat down at Duke probably called and did all the political maneuvering he could to get that 1, plus as pointed out by numerous media types, the name on the shirt means more sometimes than the body of work.

We have a legit beef which helps fuel the fire. Can’t wait to see Da’ and company cutting down the nets in a few weeks.
