"When you bank one in from the top … sometimes at the park that doesn’t even count," Cronin said. "They make you call it. "

But Butler did, according to Stephenson.

"He said, ‘bank,’" Stephenson said. "and I said, ‘what? ’ Then I turned around and watched it go in. I was all over him. I couldn’t do anything different. I actually fouled him."

I'm still drunk and I don't even remember what you are talking about?

Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

I'll let it slide

This time.

It’s better with Cronin’s quote preceding it anyway.

I can’t beleive he called it. The man is insanely clutch.

The good news for Cronin is now he can devote more time to protecting his lucky charms.

Awesome...

Now is the time boys to make a big noise.
No matter what the people say,
For there is naught to fear, the gang's all here,
So hail West Virginia, hail.

It looks like I was wrong about the double byes not being a factor. Huggins, you win again. I’m stupid. You’re smart. I was wrong. You were right. You’re the best. I’m the worst. You’re very good-looking. I’m not attractive.

Holy Shit

I can’t believe he actually called the bank. That is pimp!!!! And definitely hysterical. That takes balls. Did anyone else think it was weird that Huggy didn’t exhibit one single emotion once the shot went in? The camera angle from the side showed it. Not a smile, not a high 5, not a fist pump…you would have thought that we lost. I know Huggy isn’t known for being animated (except when he is pissed) but I would have expected some sort of relief or excitement.

I think it’s pretty great that Stephenson told us that, and in doing so, called out his coach. Seriously though, hand in the face, at the buzzer, and he calls the bank? Legendary.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
