Game Thread: WVU vs. Cincinnati
So far, the double-bye has been a curse in the BET. Is it because of too much rest or does it show that the Big East is the toughest conference in the nation? Either way, I hope we do not fall victim to the curse.
As always...

I don't care who we play tomorrow...
We can beat both Pitt and ND.
Leave no doubt tonight! Leave no doubt tonight! No doubt! They shouldn't of played the Old Gold'n Blue.

I'm still steamed
that we went out to Anaheim to play in a tournament with 3 other ranked teams and won the damn thing without seeing one of the aforementioned ranked teams. I’d rather we beat a ranked Pitt than an unranked ND going into the NCAA.

My prediction
We stomp them. Bickelficherkane will probably admonish me for being optimistic.

Unlike SU, Nova, and Pitt
WVU’s opponent is playing its 3rd game in 3 days—not just its 2nd straight game.
Doesn’t amount to anything, but c’est vrai.

when mazzulla is on the court, the other team has the advantage, they know he’s not gonna shoot the ball,

Not sure what you expected...
…if not an ugly game from WVU. WVU and Cincy are both teams that can’t shoot and so try to muck up the game with defense and rebounding. Of 30-odd games, how many times has WVU not played ugly?

Second half keys
Keep up the intensity on the boards. We are doing a great job of keeping them of the glass but need to get a few offensive rebounds if we continue to shoot so poorly.
Get Stephenson to commit an early foul.
Slow down and look for points off cuts. Like Bilas said, “All their points have come off cuts.” We stand around on some possession and wait for Butler to get open.
Should be up by at least 10 but I will take a 3 point lead.
